About Anika

Anika Ajwani

Academic Check-Ins, Study Skills & Organization Support, Resume/CV & Application Coaching

I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in American Sign Language, and received the Husky 100 Award for my research and clinical work focused on neurodevelopmental conditions. I currently serve as the Lab Manager of the Early Minds Lab at UMass Boston, where I manage research on child cognitive development and mentor undergraduate students. My background includes several years of research and hands-on experience working with children and families, including autistic children and those with other neurodevelopmental conditions. I’ve also worked as a certified behavioral therapist, which strengthened my interest in helping young people build confidence, independence, and effective learning habits. As an IB Diploma Programme graduate, I understand the demands of rigorous coursework and enjoy helping students develop strong study strategies, stay organized, and manage busy academic schedules. I also provide guidance with resumes, CVs, cover letters, scholarship applications, personal statements, and interview preparation. This fall, I will begin a Master of Social Work (MSW) at Boston University as I work toward becoming a licensed psychotherapist supporting children and families.
