As a seasoned expert in academic advising, college admissions, financial aid, and scholarships, I am deeply committed to guiding students through every stage of the college admissions process—from middle school to graduate school. With 20 years of experience in education, I’ve had the privilege of working with thousands of students worldwide, helping them navigate the often-complex journey to higher education.

 

I hold a Master’s in Education and am currently the only Certified Financial Aid Advisor in Washington state. In addition to being a Certified College Counselor, my diverse background includes curriculum development, nearly a decade in admissions, and five years as a university professor. I’ve also led corporate education for a large global company, further expanding my expertise.
This comprehensive experience gives me a unique, insider’s perspective on the admissions process, allowing me to provide unparalleled support and insights to the students I serve.

Karalee Behling

Karalee Behling is a nationally certified counselor, dedicated school counselor, and mental health therapist with a strong focus on 4-year planning for students. Born and raised in Washington State, Karalee’s passion for education and student well-being led her to pursue higher education at Oregon State University, where she earned her undergraduate degree. She furthered her expertise with a graduate degree from Seton Hall University.

 

With experience working in a variety of settings, Karalee has developed the ability to view situations through multiple lenses, allowing for a comprehensive approach to student counseling. She focuses on identifying and leveraging the strengths of each student, helping them harness these assets to plan effectively for their future. Karalee is committed to guiding students through their academic and personal journeys, ensuring they are equipped with the tools they need to succeed.

Pre-College Planning and College Counseling with Elisia Howard and Karalee Behling Academic Year 2024/2025

Karalee specializes in creating 4-year plans, so students are prepared for college applications.

Elisia handles all college and financial aid counseling. It is highly recommended that students start the college application process in February of 11th grade.

Financial Aid Advising

Includes creating a strategy for paying for college, completing the FAFSA and/or CSS Profile, and is tailored to the family’s situation.
